Meaning of Al Momin

Momin means peace. Momin is a word used for Muslims in Quran but this attribute is used for ALLAH (S.W.T) once in Quran. For ALLAH it has three meanings.

Witness

ALLAH in itself is the witness of every single word of Quran that these are true to every single aspect.

Protector

ALLAH is the sole protector of His creation and He protects them in every situation.

Protection from fear

ALLAH protects His creation from fear and troubles.

 Explanation of Al Momin

ALLAH is Al Momin because He not only protects the creation but He is the sole protector for them. ALLAH is not only the witness of each and every word of Quran but also ensures to provide the creation, each and every facility He had promised to. If ALLAH wants to then He can depart from His words but He does not do this. This is not because He is bound by any one but He likes these rules and regulations to be followed by His followers and by Himself as well. ALLAH in itself is also the protector of these regulations.

Guarantee of Benefits

Through this attribute, ALLAH guarantees to provide benefits and advantages to His believers. He is the only one who can provide peace to everyone. He is the one who ensures to end the fears of a person during life, death and on day of judgement.

Proof of Al Momin from Quran

He is ALLAH , other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Bestower of Faith, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is ALLAH above whatever they associate with Him. Surah al Hashr verse 23.

ALLAH as a Witness in Quran

ALLAH witnesses that there is no deity except Him, and [so do] the angels and those of knowledge – [that He is] maintaining [creation] in justice. There is no deity except Him, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. Surah Al-Imran verse. 18.

 Invocation through this Attribute

During the condition of fear, trouble, problem, one should recite this name countlessly and ALLAH will surely free Him from fear, trouble and problems.
